09.11.2006: Bleeder
Pour the rest of the fluid into the bleeder and attach it to the reservoir. Pump the bleeder to the desired pressure. Continue to monitor the pressure during the bleeding process and pump more as needed. Also see that the bleeded does not run out of fresh fluid.

Bleeding the brakes on a 1999 Saab 9-5.

Tools:

  • DOT4 brake fluid: 900 ml or 1 quart;
  • brake bleeder;
  • 17 mm socket: wheel bolts;
  • 11 mm wrench: bleeder screws;
  • torque wrench;
  • car jack and stands.
