Open the brake reservoir cap and extract the old fluid.
09.11.2006: New fluid |
Fill the reservoir with fresh fluid.
09.11.2006: Bleeder |
Pour the rest of the fluid into the bleeder and attach it to the reservoir.
Pump the bleeder to the desired pressure. Continue to monitor the pressure
during the bleeding process and pump more as needed. Also see that the
bleeded does not run out of fresh fluid.
09.11.2006: Front |
Connect a tube to the bleeder nipple on the front left wheel and loosen
the nipple screw until the fluid starts to flow. The oil fluid will be
dark and murky. Drain until you see the fresh clean fluid coming out,
and there are no more bubbles in the stream. 200 ml is usually enough.
09.11.2006: Rear |
Tighten the nipple on the first caliper and move to the rear right wheel.
Then do the right front, and finally the rear left.
