03.05.2009: Battery support
Unscrew the battery support. It's usually held by 2 to 4 small bolts (10 mm), and could be mounted straight or sideways.

Transmission mount replacement on a 1999 Saab 9-5.

Tools:

  • 18 mm socket (upper nut);
  • 13 mm socket (battery clamps, mount bolt);
  • 13 mm wrench (mount bolt);
  • 12 mm socket (battery bracket);
  • 10 mm socket (battery support);
  • Torx T40 socket (index screw);
  • socket extension;
  • torque wrench;
  • hydraulic jack.
